Little by little

with strange whispers
she'll shoo away your sanity

little by little

she'll hang you at the edge of the cosmos
and shoo away your privacy

little by little

she'll undress you in the marketplace
and shoo away your notion of respect

little by little

she'll cast wool over your eyes
and shoo away your sight

little by little

she'll stuff your hands with copper
and shoo away your riches

little by little

she'll masquerade in different forms
and shoo away your hopes

little by little

she'll take away your dazzle
and shoo away your colors

little by little

she'll use a hammer
and knock on the fragile door of your heart

little by little

when the door of your heart finally breaks
the ancient light spills in

little by little

The Wizard

what have you, instead of eyes?
a wand!
Like a wizard, you turned my prison walls
into doors

in between flashes of lightning
you take a peek and show glimpses of your beauty
I yearn for more but you twist and turn my soul
like puppet strings in your hands

I cast a shadow over you
to protect you from wandering eyes
you threw your love dust onto me instead
and I shine as million stars on the night sky

you raise an eye brow
like the shape of snowflakes
my heart weaves through a thousand different states, all at once
at your touch
the thousand different states melt into one

You are my heart's shore
I'm the ocean waves
I'll forever be running to you
till the end of time

O'  you with the Ruby lips
I merely asked to only know all the letters that form your name

with a glance,
instead

you turn me into this Wizard
   with words

The Forest

The fields of my heart, now lay barren.
once, flowers used to blossom.
the bees played it's pollinating games.
moonlight danced in the plains.

the perfect skies gave birth to clouds like the curls of your hair
butterflies scattered the dust of sweet secrets
the forest once brimming with life
with songs that are blithe

where did you go my love?
I don't hear you anymore
the flames of your love
have the burned the entire forest down

this insanity is all that is left of me
the knots of my barren heart tighten
at the thought of what it all could have been
and this yearning has made me all weary

my words now fade
just like smoke from dying flames.
with nothing left to burn
I offer my heart, to the flames

and I felt the breeze
like feather across my face
it carried your whispers of my name
to my ear

at once
that dying forest

burst back into life

This night

this night, the heart is torn
she uses my secrets
to stoke the flames
even the nightingale refuses to sing

how can a fish lose it's way in a pond?
there are no raindrops to kiss the cheeks
no songs to sing
no flute to play

O' midnight moon
shine a little of your light into the house of my heart, will you not?
the stars remain aligned,
yet the path,

I still do not see...
